Britannia Industries reports 36% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Britannia Industries has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24). 

The company has reported 37.74% rise in net profit at Rs 443.05 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 321.66 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 9.74% at Rs 3,922.79 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 3,574.61 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 35.66% rise in its net profit at Rs 455.45 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 335.74 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.20% at Rs 4,064.63 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 3,756.46 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
