FIIs net buyers of Rs 1273.44 crore in futures and options segments on September 29

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1273.44 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, September 29, 2011.

FII’s were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 483.89 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1132.85 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 585.33 crore and they also bought stock options to the tune of Rs 39.15 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on September 29, 2011 is 42.23%.
