Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has successfully tested and dispatched its first 765 kv class, 500 MVA transformer to Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) in respect of MOU entered into by the company with Zaporozhtransformetor (ZTR), Ukraine, leading global manufacture of 765 kv class transformers for the purpose of manufacturing and supplying transformers to PGCIL.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) is one of India’s leading transformer manufacturers. The company is the main supplier of transformers to the Sardar Sarovar hydel project, state electricity boards and major international clients.
