Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture (JV) firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported that in order to increase its sales it will be focusing on Eastern India and Rajasthan state. The company is looking to increase its dealers network from 250 to 290 this year.

VECV is targeting 10% growth in 2013. The group plans to add 12 dealers in Northeast India. It has already got two dealers in Northeast India.The company by 2014 is targeting to sell 2,000 vehicles across the seven states of the region. Around 10,500 heavy vehicles are sold in Northeast India annually.
