Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has received prestigious ‘NDTV Profit Business Leadership Award 2012’ in the Oil & Gas (Upsteam) category at an award ceremony held on April 08, 2013 at New Delhi. The company received the award from Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Government of India.

The NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards aims at recognizing organizational excellence and it rewards the organizations for leading the Indian business and industry from the front.

ONGC recently signed a MOU on March 25, 2013 with the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for its Performance Evaluation Parameters and Targets for 2013-14. The MoU 2013-14 has sector-specific targets for production of Crude Oil, Natural Gas and Reserve Accretion. This includes ONGC’s share from Domestic Joint Venture fields/acreages and production of Value-Added Products.
