Vascon inks agreement with Bhalakh Realtors to develop township at Oragadam

Vascon Engineers has signed up an agreement to develop a 105 acre township with Bhalakh Realtors located at Oragadam, a rapidly developing suburb of Chennai. The total potential area of development is about 10 million square feet to be developed in four phases over a period of six years. The total investment in the projects is estimated to be approximate Rs 2000 crore.

Oragadam is a town and industrial area located on the outskirts of Chennai,India. It is situated on a high plateau at a distance of 45km away from Chennai on Tambaram- Kancheepuram road. The town is known for its various industries and workshops pertaining to the automobile sector.

The Company commenced operations primarily as an EPC services company in 1986. However, in the past few years the Company has diversified into real estate development, including owning and operating selected projects directly or indirectly through the Subsidiaries and the Other Development Entities. The company’s operations span across all aspects of real estate development, from identification and acquisition of land to providing EPC services and sales and marketing of the projects to operation of the completed projects.
