NTPC has signed a supplementary Joint Venture agreement with Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (UPRVUNL) on September 13, 2023. This Supplementary Joint Venture Agreement (SJVA) will amend Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) dated February 28, 2008 in respect of formation of a joint venture company Meja Urja Nigam (MUNPL) between NTPC and UPRVUNL and form integral part of JVA dated February 28, 2008. 

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
