Wipro has received an approval for merger of Wipro Energy IT Services India and Wipro Technologies Services with itself. The board of company at its meeting held on April 19, 2013 has approved for the same. Wipro Energy IT Services India and Wipro Technologies Services is wholly-owned subsidiary of Wipro. The above is however subject to approval of shareholders, creditors, High Courts and other regulatory approvals.

Wipro provides comprehensive IT solutions and services, including systems integration, Information Systems outsourcing, IT enabled services, package implementation, software application development and maintenance, and research and development services to corporations globally.
