United Spirits’ brand McDowells No1 has achieved retail sales worth $3.8 billion amounting over Rs 20,000 crore in 2012-13. The brand has created a historic landmark by retail sales worth $3.8 billion for nearly half a billion 750 ML bottles of its whisky, rum and brandy franchise.

The success has been driven by the company’s premiumisation strategy and innovation along with introduction of premium brands under the McDowell’s No1 banner.

United Spirits is the largest spirits company in India and a flagship entity of $2 billion UB group. It manufactures wide range of whisky, vodka, rum and other spirits.
