Asian Paints reports 53% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Asian Paints has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2023 (Q2FY24). 

The company has reported 52.01% rise in its net profit at Rs 1160.25 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 763.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 0.71% at Rs 7514.52 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 7461.45 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 53.31% rise in its net profit at Rs 1232.39 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 803.83 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 1.06% at Rs 8643.77 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 8553.04 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
