NTPC reports 38% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

NTPC has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2023 (Q2FY24). 

The company has reported 16.62% rise in its net profit at Rs 3,885.01 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 3,331.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 0.70% at Rs 41,517.87 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 41,810.96 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 38.29% rise in its net profit at Rs 4,726.40 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3,417.67 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 1.57% at Rs 45,384.64 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 44,681.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
