M&M reports 32% rise in overall auto sales in October

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a 32% rise in its overall auto sales at 80,679 units for the month of October 2023, including exports. Of the total, the company has posted 35% increase in domestic passenger vehicles sales at 43,708 units in October 2023, as compared to the same month last year. The company had sold 32,298 units of passenger vehicles in October 2022. Among passenger vehicles, domestic sales of utility vehicles were at 43708 units last month, as against 32226 units in the year-ago period, a growth of 36%. 

Sales of three-wheelers, including electric 3Ws, were at 9402 units, as compared to 5081 units in October 2022, a growth of 85%. The domestic sales for Small Commercial Vehicles (LCV 2 T - 3.5 T) stood at 20349 vehicles. Sales of Commercial Vehicles (LCV > 3.5T + MHCV) stood at 1031 units. However, the exports of the company fell 33% to 1854 units in October 2023 as compared to 2755 units in October 2022.
