Tata Steel reports consolidated net loss of Rs 6511 crore in Q2

Tata Steel has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2023 (Q2FY24). 

The company has reported net loss at Rs 8530.60 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to net profit of Rs 2214.54 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company marginally decreased by 3.90% at Rs 34073.00 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 35456.81 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss at Rs 6511.16 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 1297.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 7.14% at Rs 55910.16 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 60206.78 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
