Clariant Chemicals to divest entire stake in Chemtreat Composites

Clariant Chemicals (India) has executed the share purchase agreement for divestment of its entire holding in its subsidiary company, Chemtreat Composites India, for a total consideration of Rs 5.08 crore.

Chemtreat Composites India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clariant Chemicals India, commercialized in 2006. It handles Advanced Material Chemistry and is a 100% Export Oriented Units (EOU).

Clariant Chemicals (India) represents a valuable repository of manufacturing and marketing experience. Its constituents were all well respected companies who played an invaluable role in the development of the textiles, leather, paints, plastics, printing inks and agrochemicals industries in India.
