FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on October 3, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Monday were net sellers in equities while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6193.80 crore against gross sell of Rs 6504.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 310.30 crore in equities on October 3, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1466.10 crore with gross sales of Rs 723.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 742.20 crore in debt on October 3, 2011.
