Tata Motors reports marginal rise in domestic vehicle sales in December 2023

Tata Motors has reported 4% rise in its total domestic vehicle sales at 76,138 units in December 2023, as against 72,997 units in the same month last year. Passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market, including electric vehicles, were up 9% at 43,470 units in December 2023, as compared to 40,043 units in December 2022. Electric vehicle sales, including in international markets, were at 5,006 units as compared to 3,868 units in the year-ago month, a growth of 29%. Its total commercial vehicles sales were higher by 1% at 34,180 units in December 2023, as compared to 33,949 units in December 2022. The company's commercial vehicles sales stood at 96,526 in Q3FY24, 1% higher than Q3FY23.
