FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on October 10, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Monday were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3563.90 crore against gross sell of Rs 3072.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 491.30 crore in equities on October 10, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 888.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 638.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 249.90 crore in debt on October 10, 2011.
