InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has commenced direct operations between Mumbai and Ayodhya, effective January 15, 2024. Daily direct flights will improve accessibility and ensure smoother travel from India’s financial capital to the famous temple town in Uttar Pradesh. 

IndiGo was the first airline to start flights from the newly inaugurated Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya, on December 30, 2023. Subsequently, the airline has regular commercial flights connecting Delhi and Ahmedabad to Ayodhya. 

InterGlobe Aviation provides air transportation services in India and internationally. The company primarily operates IndiGo passenger airline.
