F&O total turnover stood at Rs 139168.12 crore on October 12

Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 139168.12 crore on October 12, and the total numbers of contract traded on the day were 5565570.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 16552.22 crore, Stock Futures Rs 14270.55 crore and Index Options Rs 102972.77 crore while, the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 5372.57 crore.

For the day the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 1.09 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.12 and that of Stock Options was 0.63.

The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were DLF 1.56, Sun Pharma 1.53, Infosys 1.48, Tata Motors 1.45 and IDFC 1.33.

Among most active underlying, SBI witnessed contraction of 1.91% of Open Interest (OI) in the October month futures contract followed by Infosys witnessed an addition of 29.91% of Open Interest (OI) in the near month contract. Meanwhile RIL witnessed an addition of 6.75% of OI in the October month futures. Also, Tata Motors witnessed an addition of 4.02% of Open Interest (OI) in the October month contract followed by ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 6.89% of Open Interest (OI) in the October month contract.
