FIIs net buyers of Rs 1443.21 crore in futures and options segments on October 12

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1443.21 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, October 12, 2011.

FII’s were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 581.41 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 768.28 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 102.93 crore and they sold stock options to the tune of Rs 9.41 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on October 12, 2011 is 36.08%.
