With reference to letter dated January 5, 2024, wherein Tata Steel had submitted the Notice of the Meeting of its Equity Shareholders being convened as per the directions provided in the Order of the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench (‘Hon’ble NCLT’) in the matter of the Scheme of Amalgamation amongst Tata Steel (‘Transferee Company’) and Angul Energy (‘Transferor Company’) and their respective shareholders (‘Scheme’), Tata Steel has informed that as directed by the Hon’ble NCLT vide its order dated December 14, 2023, the notices have been issued to the secured creditors, unsecured creditors and unsecured debenture holders of the Transferee Company.
