-19.20 (-0.96%) Bharti Airtel, after calling off its tie-up with Chennai-based Servion Global Solutions, a customer interaction management (CIM) Solutions Company, has entered into partnership with US-based Genesys, to offer Hosted Contact Centre (HCC) services.
The new partnership, with Genesys, would enable the company to offer services purely on a Software as a Service (SaaS)-based model, which supports quicker deployment and ensures faster go-live for customer processes.
In July 2010, a consortium of Bharti Airtel, Cisco, and Servion forayed into the Indian HCC services market valued at $50 million with the launch of India’s first ‘customizable’ hosted Contact Center services. Both the companies agreed to end the tie up almost a year ago and the collaboration was completely stopped.
