Godawari Power And Ispat Ltd.

Godawari Power and Ispat has commissioned commercial operations at 23 MWp Captive Solar PV Power Plant of the Company situated at Khairagarh (Rajnandgaon) Chhattisgarh. Also, the Plant has been duly synchronized with the grid and charged on February 6, 2024. 

The power generated at the above Solar Power Plant will be captively consumed at Ari Dongri Iron Ore mining activities, which replace the high cost power, being purchased from state Discom, The generation of Solar Energy will support the green initiatives of the Company and reduce the carbon foot print.

Godawari Power And Ispat is engaged in the production of sponge iron, steel billets, ferro alloys, HB wires, oxygen, fly ash bricks and is also in the power business.
