Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has assured the Odisha government about its plan to employ about 4,000 information technology (IT) professionals in the Odisha with completion of its first expansion in next three months. At present the IT major has employed 1,000 IT professionals in its Odisha Hub, which will go up to 4,000 with new expansion. The entity has also decided another expansion, which will be completed by 2015-16 and at least 10,000 IT professionals will be deployed.
