Titan Industries is reportedly planning to add 1,00,000 sq. ft. of retail space in FY14. Though, the company has added 1,45,000 sq. ft. of retail space in FY13. The company’s jewellery segment will see fewer new stores addition this fiscal. The company is also planning to open three manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu in FY14.
The company, on consolidated basis, registered 20.62% rise in net profit at Rs 725.38 crore in FY13 as against Rs 601.36 crore in previous year. The total income of the company increased to Rs 10224.18 crore as compared to Rs 8942.90 crore in FY12, up by 14.33%.
