Eicher Motors and Volvo Group's joint venture (JV) company -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has posted 5.6% fall in total sales at 11,242 units in March 2024 as compared to the same month last year. It had sold 11,906 units in March 2023. 

The March 2024 sales included 10,986 units of the Eicher brand and 256 units of the Volvo brand. In the domestic commercial vehicles market, Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 10,525 units in March 2024 as compared to 11,263 units in March 2023. Exports of Eicher branded trucks and buses were up 11.4% at 461 units in March 2024 as compared to 414 units in March 2023.
