Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

The Bank’s net profit for the quarter has surged by 33.54% at Rs 260.01 crore as compared to Rs 194.70 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2010. Its total Income has increased by 44.54% to Rs 1677.14 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1160.29 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

On Consolidated basis, the Group’s profit after tax for the second quarter of the current fiscal stood at Rs 432.58 crore as compared to Rs 364.11 crore for the same period last year, up by 18.80%. Company’s total Income has decreased by 7.00% at Rs 2740.84 crore for the quarter from Rs 2947.20 crore for the similar quarter last fiscal.
