Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding to establish Inter-State transmission system for the three projects on build, own operate and transfer (BOOT) basis. 

The projects are ‘Transmission System for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Phase IV (Part 2: 5.5 GW) (Jaisalmer/ Barmer Complex): Part C’, ‘Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy zone in Khavda area of Gujarat under Phase-IV (7GW) Part E2’ and ‘Transmission System for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Phase IV (Part 2: 5.5 GW) (Jaisalmer/ Barmer Complex): Part E’. The Letters of Intents (LoIs) have been received by the company on April 16, 2024.
