Power Finance Corporation Ltd.

Power Finance Corp, reportedly, is planning to set up a private equity fund jointly with Tata Capital and also planning to purchase stake in a state-run bank. It has sent a letter to the power and the finance ministries for the same.

PFC provides large range of financial products and services like project term loan, lease financing, direct discounting of bills, short term loan, and consultancy services for various power projects in generation, transmission, distribution sector as well as for renovation and modernization of existing power projects.
