Mphasis reports 4% fall in Q2 net profit

The company has reported a fall of 4.32% in its net profit at Rs 138.48 crore in Q4FY13 as compared to net profit of Rs 144.73 crore in the same quarter previous year. However, total income of the company has increased marginally by 0.26% to Rs 904.03 crore as compared to Rs 901.71 crore in corresponding quarter last year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 6.80% in its net profit after taxes at Rs 176.54 crore in Q4FY13 as compared to net profit of Rs 189.43 crore in the same quarter previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 5.21% to Rs 1440.95 crore as compared to Rs 1369.61 crore in corresponding quarter last year.
