Bata India’s Q2 net clocks in 49% growth

Bata India has reported results for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

The company’s net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 30.42 crore as compared to Rs 20.72 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year, up by 48.80%. The company’s total income has increased by 26.53% at Rs 375.42 crore for the second quarter of the present fiscal from Rs 296.69 crore for the similar quarter of the previous year.
