Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), India’s leading utility vehicle maker has launched the Verito Vibe, a smaller sibling of the Verito. The lowest variant of Verito Vibe will costs Rs 5.63 lakh, while the top-end variant will costs about Rs 6.49 lakh. The Vibe is powered by the same 1.5-litre engine that does duty on the Verito. Due to its smaller length and the 1.5-litre diesel engine, Mahindra will enjoy excise duty benefits on the car.

The company reported its auto sales numbers for May 2013 which stood at 43,460 units, a fall of 1.20% as against 43,989 units during May 2012.
