IVRCL’s Transportation and Mining divisions have bagged orders aggregating worth Rs 972.07 crore. Of which, the company’s transportation division bagged order worth Rs 917.80 crore. This includes construction of Tunnel T-74R (between Km 125 and 134) on Dharam-Qazigund section of Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla New BG Railway Line Project (Package T-74R) awarded to IVRCL JV by Ircon International, New Delhi (A Govt. of India Undertaking). The completion period of the contract is 36 months.
This Northern railway project is to connect Jammu and Kasmir with main land through Rail link and is passing through Pir Panjal Range of Himalaya. This project is first package in the new alignment fixed deeper inside mountain giving a rock over burden of more than 1 Km above the tunnel.
The transportation division also bagged contract for construction of Roadbed, major and minor bridges and track linking (excluding supply of rails, sleepers and Thick web switches) S&T and General Electrical Work in Abu Road-Sarotra Road (24.35 km) in Ajmer division of North Western Railway in Rajasthan and Gujarat State, India awarded by Rail Vikas Nigam. It also secured order for construction of Roadbed, major and minor bridges and track linking (excluding supply of rails, sleepers and Thick web switches) S&T and Genera! Electrical Work in Sarotra Road-Palanpur Section (25.75 km) in Ajmer division of North Western Railway in Gujarat State, India' awarded by Rail Vikas Nigam.
Moreover, the company’s mining division has bagged order worth Rs 54.27 crore. This includes Mechanical Transfer and Transportation of Coal from Departmental Surface Miner Face of Ananta OCP to Ananta Railway Siding No.V & VI at Ananta OCP, Jagannath Area awarded to IVRCL-RTE Joint Venture by Mahanadi Coalfields, Sambalpur (A subsidiary of Coal India).
