Reports are indicating that the Netherlands might provide as much as 3 billion euros (3.26 billion dollars) for the environmental overhaul of the IJmuiden facility, which has been linked to significant health and environmental challenges in the region. The company aims to produce CO2-neutral steel by 2050. But, the company clarified that it may be premature to draw any final conclusions at this time and hence the Company is not in a position to comment any further on the news reports appearing in the mainstream media.
