Date: 07-06-2013

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), India’s leading utility vehicle maker is planning to introduce e-Verito, the electric version of its entry-level sedan Verito, in 2014. It will use the electric vehicle technology of Reva for the e-Verito version.  The automaker had acquired Bangalore-based Reva Electric Car Company in 2010, post which it came to be known as Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles.

Recently, the company launched the Verito Vibe, a smaller sibling of the Verito, in Bangalore. The Verito Vibe will be available in three variants - D2, D4 and D6. The price range for the Vibe will be from Rs 5.68 lakh ex-showroom Bangalore for base D2 model to Rs 6.54 lakh ex-showroom Bangalore for the fully loaded top end D6 model.
