NTPC has reported a significant 15% year-on-year increase in coal production from its captive mines, totaling 9.862 metric million tonnes (MMT) in the first quarter of FY25. The company also revealed a 17.15% growth in coal dispatch, achieving 10.194 MMT during the same period.
