National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has organized the Project Meet 2013 with theme ‘Managing Time and Cost for Project Execution’ at its Koldam project site in Himachal Pradesh state. The Project Meet is a forum where in cross functional groups of NTPC interact and deliberate on feedback received from Vendors, Contractors and Equipment Manufacturers to formulate guidelines and recommendations for the future projects.

Besides, an exhibition ‘Hydro Dream to Reality’ show casing the NTPC’s progress in the Hydro Project development was also organized.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
