Coal India Ltd.

Coal India (CIL) has signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with GAIL (India) for Setting up Coal to Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) plant at Eastern Coalfield (ECL), Bardhaman, West Bengal. The company has signed joint venture agreement on August 5, 2024.

Coal India (CIL) is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
