Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd.

Equitas Small Finance Bank has informed that the Bank has received an Order under Section 73 of the TNGST, CGST and IGST Act, 2017 from the GST Department, State Tax Officer, Anna Salai Assessment Circle, Tamil Nadu, Chennai-600006 on August 20, 2024 at 06:02 PM for tax demand amounting to Rs. 7,41,884 (Rupees Seven Lakhs Forty One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Four only), (including interest of Rs.4,02,030 and penalty of Rs.30,896) on account of interest on belated payment of reverse charges and Input Credit availed on invoices where the Suppliers had filed GSTR-3B with NIL Turnover and did not pay tax corresponding to the invoices declared in GSTR 1, for the Financial Year 2019-2020. Information as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with Schedule III and the SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023 is annexed.
