With refer to intimation dated 17th April, 2024 informing that JSW Energy (Utkal) Limited (JSWEUL) (formerly known as Ind-Barath Energy (Utkal) Limited), a subsidiary company, had received an arbitral award dated 10th April, 2024 (Arbitral Award) allowing claims of JSWEUL against Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) and rejecting counterclaim filed by TANGEDCO in the arbitration proceedings initiated by JSWEUL against TANGEDCO; JSW Energy has informed that TANGEDCO has filed a petition before the Hon'ble Madras High Court challenging the Arbitral Award under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
