NHPC has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO) on September 27, 2024 for incorporation of a Joint Venture Company for implementation of Pumped Storage Hydro Power Projects and Renewable Energy (solar/ floating solar/ wind) Projects in Andhra Pradesh.

NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
