In continuation of letter dated July 6, 2024 (copy enclosed for ready reference), JM Financial has informed that the Competition Commission of India (the CCI), vide its letter dated October 8, 2024 has communicated that it has approved the Tranche 1 acquisition of 42.99% shareholding of JM Financial Credit Solutions (JMFCSL) by JM Financial (the Company). Vide the aforesaid letter, the CCI has also approved the acquisition of 71.79% shareholding of JM Financial Asset Reconstruction Company (JMFARC) by JMFCSL from the Company, under Section 31(1) of the Competition Act, 2002.
