NTPC has informed that as per Article No.39(iv) of Articles of Association of the Company a Director representing the Government Department shall retire on his ceasing to be an official of that Department.

Shri. Rakesh Jain, Government nominee Director on the Board of NTPC has been relieved of his duties in the Ministry of Power w.e.f. July 08, 2013. Accordingly, he has ceased to be Director on the Board of NTPC w.e.f. July 09, 2013.
