REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development & Consultancy (RECPDCL) has incorporated as wholly owned subsidiary in name of Lakadia B Power Transmission. The subsidiary company has been incorporated for Transmission scheme for evacuation of power from Transmission system for Augmentation of transformation capacity at 765/400 kV Lakadia S/s (WRSS XXI (A) Transco) in Gujarat - Part B.

REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
