HDFC Bank trades in green on the BSE

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 695.35, up by 14.20 points or 2.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 681.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 683.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 695.50 and Rs. 682.10 respectively. So far 74381 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 727.00 on 30-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 563.00 on 26-Jul-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 685.00 and Rs. 630.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 165885.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 22.74% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.10% and 17.13% respectively.

HDFC Bank has been voted as the Best Bank in Asia on the list of ‘Best Investor Relations Companies’ based on a survey conducted by global magazine Institutional Investor. The survey further ranked HDFC Bank 3rd on the list of Best Companies in India.

The bank took the 9th position in the overall list of ‘Most Honoured Companies in Asia’, with Infosys being the only other Indian company ahead of the bank at number 4. The 1,500 respondents of the survey also recognized the bank's top management whereby Aditya Puri, MD of the bank was voted the Best CEO in Asia in the banking sector.
