Wipro has signed a definitive agreement on November 8, 2024, to subscribe for the equity share capital up to 7% in AMPIN Energy C&I One. The transaction is expected to be completed before June 30, 2025.

This is to enhance the proportion of usage of renewable energy for its offices in Tamil Nadu. This project is expected to help the company move closer to its goal of becoming Net Zero by 2040 and 100% renewable energy for purchased electricity by 2030.
