Zee News gets rechristened to Zee Media Corporation

Zee News, the country’s largest news network with eight national and regional channels, has been rechristened to Zee Media Corporation (ZMCL) with a new tag line, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - The World is My Family’. The company has also unveiled a new identity and a logo to mark the change.

Zee News operates news, current affairs and entertainment channels. Incorporated in 1999, it was a part of Zee Telefilms but later on 31 March, 2006 in pursuance of scheme of arrangement approved by Bombay High Court it was de-merged. After de-merger, the company became an independent entity.
