Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

In a bid to avoid any confrontation between villagers and agitating sacked workers of the company, the District Magistrate has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC in areas surrounding the Maruti Suzuki’s Manesar plant. The orders will remain enforced on July 18 only and anybody violating will be punished.

District Magistrate has imposed the orders in the entire area of IMT Manesar, Maruti Company at Manesar, Devi Lal Park Manesar, National Highway 8 and Mini Secretariat Gurgaon, under which assembling of five or more persons and carrying of weapons have been prohibited.
