Grasim Industries Ltd.

Grasim Industries has successfully commissioned project expansion of Caustic Soda Lye at its Vilayat Plant, Gujarat on December 08, 2024 with an increased capacity of 400 Ton Per Day (TPD) resulting into an additional annualised revenue of around Rs 500 crore.

In view thereof, the overall capacity of producing Caustic Soda Lye post expansion of 400 TPD is 1,400 TPD as against 1,000 TPD earlier.  

Grasim Industries is the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group. The company’s businesses comprise viscose staple fibre, cement, chemicals and textiles. Its core businesses are VSF and cement, which contribute to over 90% of its revenues and operating profits.
