-34.80 (-0.48%) Apollo Hospitals Enterprise is planning to increase its beds capacity in Eastern and North Eastern India and, Bangladesh in next five years. The company already has 1,500-bed capacity in the East and North East region and is planning to expand it by adding another 1,500 beds.
Further, the company is all set to open four new hospitals - one each in Kolkata, Patna, Raipur and Guwahati. Currently, Apollo Hospitals has six tele-medicine (through video-conferencing system) centres in the region. Plans are afoot to add another 24 over the next couple of years.
